Hey there! I’m Stephen Beckman

Behind the camera, I’m a storyteller, a vintage enthusiast, and the person dedicated to making you feel like an absolute icon.

My journey with photography started when I was just thirteen years old. Back then, I was trying to capture anything and everything. Over the years, I’ve explored almost every genre imaginable—from chasing the perfect light in landscapes and capturing the raw unpredictability of wildlife, to documenting the energy of street photography, events, and traditional portraits. Every single one of those genres taught me something valuable, but it wasn’t until I leaned fully into vintage pinup and portrait photography that I found my true calling.

Why Pinup

There is something undeniably timeless, powerful, and lasting about the styles of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s. It was an era of bold confidence, classic glamour, and undeniable charm. But for me, pinup photography is about much more than just retro wardrobe, winged eyeliner, and victory rolls. It’s about celebrating you. "My absolute passion is bringing the unique, authentic beauty of every woman to life. This genre offers incredible creative freedom and diversity, allowing us to build a fantasy world that feels entirely real."

While I absolutely love working with the vibrant, rich color palettes of the mid-century, my absolute favorite way to create is in black and white. There is a rare magic in monochrome; it strips away distractions and leaves behind pure emotion, striking shadows, and a classic elegance that never goes out of style.

You don't need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands, that’s my job! Together, we’ll collaborate to create stunning pieces of art that you will look back on with pride for decades to come.

To fully bring this creative vision to life, I offer two distinct, gorgeous locations for your session depending on the vibe you want to achieve:

The Main Studio (Brownsville, PA): Welcome to the official Pinups & Portraits studio space! This is where the classic, polished indoor glamour magic happens. It's private, comfortable, and fully equipped to make you look like a Hollywood starlet.

The Farm & Outdoor Sets: For a completely unique experience, you can join me out on our farm. In addition to a dedicated indoor farm studio, the property and surrounding land feature wonderful, custom-designed outdoor sets. Think rustic charm meets vintage elegance—perfect for a diverse, one-of-a-kind gallery.
